Ryan Thomas is the CEO of Gold Coast-based Ignite Travel Group (ITG), the multi-award-winning travel company behind My Cruises, My Holiday (including My Queensland) and My Touring.
With more than 21 years’ experience in the travel industry, Ryan leads one of the Gold Coast’s largest tourism businesses, employing over 350 people and approaching $1 billion in sales. Following its acquisition by Flight Centre Travel Group, ITG continues to expand across Australia and the UK, combining AI technology, data-led marketing and customer insights to deliver personalised travel experiences.
Under Ryan’s leadership, ITG has received numerous industry accolades, including CLIA Australasian Multi Location/Brand Cruise Agency of the Year in 2024 and 2025. Ryan was also recognised with Flight Centre’s Outstanding Global MD Award in 2022. As a member of the Experience Gold Coast Tourism Advisory Committee, Ryan contributes valuable industry perspectives on tourism growth, innovation and business capability.
