Acting Director-General - Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business
David brings more than 25 years of experience across the public and private sectors in Australia and the United Kingdom, with expertise in economic development, infrastructure delivery, financial assessment and public policy. His career spans senior roles in Queensland Government departments, commercial banking, economic consultancy and the Scottish Government Executive. Since 2014, David has held leadership positions across Queensland Treasury, Queensland Health and the Department of the Premier and Cabinet.
Appointed Associate Director-General of the Implementation Division in March 2024, David successfully established the division, strengthening government delivery and driving improved outcomes across complex policy and implementation challenges.
